The Collier De Chien bracelets are a great accessory to add to any outfit, I cannot imagine how I have gone for so long without one before! It jazzes up a simple outfit, and creates a lovely punk chic statement without being too over the top.
My love for CDCs began with the ombre lizzie, this was my very first piece and it proved to be so versatile that I soon began looking for more pieces to add to my collection!
I've always loved fuchsia croc, and so thought to try one in a CDC, but I knew it would be very difficult since fuchsia croc anything is so incredibly rare nowadays. Imagine my surprise and delight when a dear friend told me she saw one on the Aussie H website a couple of days after I was just lamenting to her about my need for a fuchsia CDC!
Even though the H website only delivers within Australia, I was not deterred and quickly got one of my besties living in Sydney to help me out. Before long, this baby was safely in my hands, where she belongs! :p
Not long after I received my fuchsia, I heard from a friend that she knew of someone who wanted to sell her brand new Amethyst CDC and asked if I was interested. I saw the pictures and I was sold! So here she is, the newest member of my CDC family!

These are just lovely! I've never had the chance to try one on, as my store never seems to have them... I think I may need to hunt one down though...

ReplyDeleteWhich one is your favourite? I have a hard time deciding which colour and HW to go for? I usually prefer PH but black and GH looks very classy. My hubby thought PH and normal leather looked to much punk/ goth.
Hi! Thanks for the compliment, I think my favorite of the lot would probably be amethyst if i really had to choose, but I love them all equally. I prefer PHW, hehe all of my cdcs are in phw as I find that ghw could be a tad too overwhelming since it is a lot of hardware for a bracelet. I love black with ghw on bags, but find that personally black w ghw cdc looks too much on me. normal black leather w phw can be too harsh or too punk/goth like what DH says, so why not consider an etain reg leather w phw or black lizzie/croc cdc w phw? I think black exotics look less harsh somehow and would be gorgeous!
