CDC Trio

The Collier De Chien bracelets are a great accessory to add to any outfit, I cannot imagine how I have gone for so long without one before! It jazzes up a simple outfit, and creates a lovely punk chic statement without being too over the top.

My love for CDCs began with the ombre lizzie, this was my very first piece and it proved to be so versatile that I soon began looking for more pieces to add to my collection!

I've always loved fuchsia croc, and so thought to try one in a CDC, but I knew it would be very difficult since fuchsia croc anything is so incredibly rare nowadays. Imagine my surprise and delight when a dear friend told me she saw one on the Aussie H website a couple of days after I was just lamenting to her about my need for a fuchsia CDC!

Even though the H website only delivers within Australia, I was not deterred and quickly got one of my besties living in Sydney to help me out. Before long, this baby was safely in my hands, where she belongs! :p

Not long after I received my fuchsia, I heard from a friend that she knew of someone who wanted to sell her brand new Amethyst CDC and asked if I was interested. I saw the pictures and I was sold! So here she is, the newest member of my CDC family!

A shot of my small collection, am happy enough for now and hope I don't get tempted again for a while, LOL!

Ginza Windows

A couple of pictures of the store windows when I visited Ginza last year.

They had these really cool circles through which you could look at the items on display in magnified detail, which was rather difficult to capture on pictures but I hope the above picture gives a better idea of what I'm talking about.

This was another window, apologies for the sub par photography. It was really embarrassing, I got so engrossed in trying to view the items that I kept sneaking closer and closer and before I knew it I had smacked my nose right against the glass!!! Wanted to die of mortification on the spot, but DBF tried consoling me by pointing out similar nose smudges on the glass panels... looks like I wasn't the only one who got too caught up in H! LOL!

And here we go.. the treasure that I was trying to get a closer look at. Totally worth the rub on my nose (and dignity), it was so pretty! Am a huge fan of iris, one of the nicest colors around for the lindy methinks. Other than etoupe, of course. ;)

Ginza Cafe

What's a trip to Tokyo without visiting the Asian mothership in Ginza? If you have the time, do drop by the Ginza H cafe to enjoy some sweets.. it is a lovely place.

Complimentary kelly shaped chocolates! They are so cute I couldn't bear to eat them initially, but eventually succumbed though I have to admit they weren't that great tasting.

Now this concoction in a cup though, is really good, and an absolute must try every time I visit. The dessert comprises of creamy coffee ice cream, some espresso and amazing coffee jelly, and all that topped with luscious whipped cream! I can't remember the name, but it is the only coffee ice cream thingy on the menu, if I recall correctly. It is AWESOME.

The empty cafe is the ideal setting for a cosy and intimate tea session. I was in heaven amidst all the H wrapped leather seats!

Shall end this post with a picture of the kelly installation that was at the entrance to the cafe. Workmanship was incredible!

Some pictures not shared...

Here are a couple of pictures I didn't share previously on my threads.. all taken surreptitiously in store, lol.

From left to right: Sellier Kelly 28 Nilo croc, Retourne Kelly Rubis with phw, Birkin 30 Togo Iris with phw, Birkin 30 Clemence Orange with ghw.

Do not have too much information about the kellys as I didn't bring them home with me eventually, but they were so pretty!! But well.. unfortunately my budget only allowed for 2 regular leather birkins then! Am very happy I got to bring Iris and Orange home though, Iris really is the most versatile bag ever!

A close up of the croc. Not too sure about the color, but it was a luscious dark brown IRL. Beautiful, just not for me at this point in time.

Was shown an etoupe kelly flash too, but it was really weird somehow the etoupe on the kelly was a tad too brown-ish for my liking so I passed on it, but the etoupe in my lindy (more on that in later posts) does not have these brown undertones, I guess due to different batches? Hehe but the kelly flash does make for some serious eye candy, no? :p

My first steps...

Let's go back to where it all started.. I've posted a couple of threads on this on the purse forum, so here are the links:

Welcome!

Welcome to my H world! I started going (falling would probably be a more accurate description) down the slippery orange slope when I purchased my first H items back in late 2009. I've been buying so many H items that at times when I open certain drawers or cabinets I would find an item that I've completely forgotten about!

Hence the impetus for this blog, it would be nice to actually have some documentation of items I've bought so I can peruse and indulge in past purchases, and hopefully curb the addiction I have with bringing orange boxes home!

This blog will be an avenue for me to share my joy and love for H, and I hope you will enjoy reading this as much as I enjoy writing it. Please feel free to leave any comments, I would love to know what you think! :)
